WCC monthly meeting 6 April at 7pm
The next meeting of the Community Council is on Wednesday 6 April at 7pm at the AMP in the Brearley Room.

Litter Pick Saturday 9 April
After the success of the first litter pick where residents collected 38 bags of rubbish, we are holding another. Put the date in the diary and joins us on Saturday 9 April 2022.
We'll be gathering at 10am for 10:30am pick at the Wintergreen car park, and equipment will be supplied.

The Cone in Catcliffe
This Friday, 25 March, there is an evening event at the Cone in Catcliffe.
The Cone is a Grade 1 listed building sited in Catcliffe and is the oldest surviving structure of its type in Western Europe. It was built by William Fenney in 1740.

Annual Residents meeting 20 April
The Annual Residents meeting will be hosted by the Waverley Community Council on Wednesday 20 April from 6-8pm in the Bessemer room at the AMP.
This year we will focus on the Community Centre, sharing with residents the survey results and the initial plans for the space.

Bike track project in Waverley Park
Harworth are progressing the bike track project that will form the first phase of the main Waverley Park.
Attached is a site plan and then a more detailed layout plan that shows the bike track scheme. TerraCycle trial - a recycling scheme
A pilot 6-month recycling initiative is now open. It aims to benefit the residents and communities surrounding Waverley, reduce greenhouse gas emissions through effective recycling, and show how individuals can play their part locally to benefit the planet for future generations. As mentioned earlier this month, the Waverley Community Council is being given a space in the Olive Lane development for a Community Centre.
