Speedwatch initiative - do you want to get involved?

The WCC are continuing to work with South Yorkshire Police in relation to speeding across the Waverley estate. Two vacancies on Waverley Community Council

Resurfacing works on Waverley Walk and Cherry Wood Way

Resurfacing works on Waverley Walk and Cherry Wood Way

As you may be aware resurfacing works are planned from 10 May for four days on Waverley Walk and Cherry Wood Way. These roads are owned by the developer Avant, and some iron works have commenced on the road ahead of the resurfacing.

The WCC are concerned about safety of the children, parents, staff and road users when these works start. We are pushing for Avant and the contractors to engage with us... Read More »

WCC Annual and monthly meeting

The WCC's Annual meeting is on Thursday 5 May at 6:30pm. This will be followed by the usual WCC Monthly meeting at 7pm. As a one off the location for these meetings is the Sebastian Coe Suite, Holiday Inn Hotel Rotherham, S60 2XL

Unfortunately the combination of availability of Councillors and the clash of it being an election day, means that we have had to make use of a different location.
