Litter picked and bagged

Many thanks to all of the people who turned out for the Waverley Community Council litter pick today. We had about 20 people come and litter pick in the frosty conditions. We collected about 25 bags of rubbish, got to know each other and talk about more litter picks. It was a great effort and the Councillors really appreciated you taking part because it made a difference to the area we all live and work in.

The collected bags of rubbish are by the Superbin/ defibrillator on Highfield Lane and near the bin on Stephenson Way. I have notified Rotherham Council, and these will be collected by on Monday.
